I played the Pro, or Gold, version of this draft style game the last two years, as well as also playing a similar style NFL fantasy game, which is superior again. There are a few differences between this and the normal mode of Supercoach, and at this point in time there are many questions still unanswered, such as how many teams are in each league, and whether it will be a natural extension of your normal leagues?
With the introduction in season 2013 of the free ‘draft style’ Supercoach game (as opposed to the last two season’s payment option for the same deal) everyone now gets a chance to sample what I believe is the future of fantasy football in this country. The draft style game means that teams are wildly different in their composition, making for better match-ups and more interesting strategic moves – a version of the game that I believe will displace the original version within the next few years.
